On Fourth of July, come to Newport Harbor to get a front row seat to the Old Glory Boat Parade.  The Old Glory Boat Parade is one of the nation’s oldest and largest Patriotic boat parades. The boat parade has over 100 vessels, decorated in red, white and blue.  This year’s theme is “Freedom Calling.” The boats cruise through Newport Harbor. The Harbor Patrol Fire Boat, followed by the VIP Boat will lead this year’s parade.  The Parade kicks off at 1 pm and goes to 5 pm. The parade will line-up at Collins Island, at 12:30pm.  The American Legion sponsors this Fourth of July boat parade.  For more information about the parade or to fill out a boat entry form, see the American Legion Yacht Club website at: http://www.alyc.com/index.php?id=180.
