The Bromeliad Show and Sale at Sherman Library and Garden is taking place on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd. Bromeliads are a group of plants with brightly colored flowers and uniquely patterned foliage, that grow in a wide range of climates from rainforests to deserts. Included in this plant group are Spanish moss, pineapple, air plants and many others. The show and sale begins at 10:30am and continues until 4pm. On Saturday only, from 11:30am to 12:30pm, Cristy Brenner, President of the Saddleback Valley Bromeliad Society will be speaking on Growing Bromeliads in Southern California. This show is held in conjunction with the Saddleback Valley Bromeliad Society. Members of the society will be on hand to answer questions.
