When staging your home for a sale in the summer time, make the most of the long, bright summer days. Take the time to showcase the homes natural lighting, which generally shows off the home better than artificial lighting. Open all the curtains, drapes and blinds, so the sun can shine in. In conjugation with opening all the blinds, make sure the windows are clean, this makes the home look well cared for and lets all that natural light in.
