The Newport Theatre Arts Center is performing God of Carnage, a comedy of manners … without manners. This plays follows “the course of a superficially civilized get-together of two sets of parents meeting to discuss their children’s playground fight.” The satire filled play takes you on a ride as the evening devolves into dislike and name calling. The play is written by Yasmina Reza and won a 2009 Tony. This is an adult performance with adult language. Phyllis Gitlin is the director of this show. The play runs from Friday, November 11th through Sunday, December 11th. Tickets range in price from $20 to $25. There will be a gala opening night performance and matinee performances.
