The Newport Bay Conservancy, in partnership with Orange County parks is hosting an Explore the Bay Family Hike. This hike is designed for all ages. Families will learn about the trails which surround the bay and the bay, itself. This is a one-hour hike, which is an introduction to the bay and will be led by a naturalist. The hike will leave from the patio at the Upper Newport Bay Nature Reserve. The hike will be on both paved and dirt trails.
