The exciting and fun Balboa Island Parade will kick-off at 11am on Sunday, June 1st. The parade is celebrating its 21st year of Celebrate Balboa Island Day. The theme of this year’s parade is Star Spangled Islands: Balboa, Little and Collins. The parade marches down Marine Ave toward the fire station. After the parade, the party will continue with live entertainment from “Big Wednesday” Surf Band and “The Tricia Freeman Band.” The bands will be performing right in front of the fire station. The bridge closes at 10:30am, so plan accordingly. The parade and party are sponsored by the Balboa Island Improvement Association.
